Oscar 2011: my (lazy) comments

was supposed to be the year of rejuvenation, but the only funny moment he saw the protagonist novantaquattrenne Kirk Douglas, author of a hilarious curtain time of the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
Prizes? Almost all announced and almost all accompanied by speech dimenticabilissimi. He put
? Some significant, but not worthy of mention, apart from the beautiful Halle Berry , who freely give a lot of hemp from head stuck so is regal in her appearance.
Anne Hathaway? Adorable but restrained.
James Franco? Alluring but untouchable.
The songs nominated? Four of them bad, but especially, as already written in previous posts, the one that won: a boiata unlistenable in the context of the pearl that is TOY STORY 3.
Hope? That next year you come back Hugh Jackman, or anyone with a minimum of organizational verve and a bit of empathy. What a disappointment
burning.

Oscar 2011: Oscar winners

In the context of one of the most boring ceremonies and scandalously ill-organized the last two decades, have just awarded the Oscar 83mi film.
triumphs THE SPEECH OF THE KING (film, director, actor, screenplay), surprising for the victory of Hooper director ; Inception ago as lower technical categories also taking home four statuettes; THE SOCIAL NETWORK prevails in three categories (adapted screenplay, editing and soundtrack), while it THE FIGHTER won awards for both supporting actors.
blow to THE GRINTA (10 nominations) and 127 hours (6), a dry mouth. The most pleasing statuette

more scandalous: the horrible song TOY STORY 3 .

2011: a freewheeling ...

Without the necessary provisions for the night of the stars That's all what you really think on the year just ended film, which has an extremely impressive tumbler for all ten films nominated. There is not a movie that is supposedly under the level of "good" successful, unlike several recent years in which some products were inserted without merit worthy of note.
But let's get down to it, by category (the six main course).

BEST FILM: difficult to choose. THE SOCIAL NETWORK is a complete film in all respects, but may leave some 'cold; THE SPEECH OF THE KING has the best cast, but a choppy rhythm, THE FIGHTER, though remarkable, is affected by the unoriginality of the story, IL GRINTA is very well done but frankly useless inception is almost too technically sumptuous but sought to engage, TOY STORY 3 is extraordinary, ma non può contare sull'aspetto recitativo; 127 ORE e WINTER'S BONE non hanno i crismi per aggiudicarsi addirittura il titolo di miglior pellicola dell'anno; I RAGAZZI STANNO BENE è una dramedy semplicemente deliziosa, ma anche in questo caso forse manca quel quid che possa farlo considerare film d'eccellenza sugli altri. Cosa rimane?

MIGLIOR DIRECTOR : all very good, but I follow the theory of good, so if BLACK SWAN is the best film, best director can only be Darren Aronofsky.

BEST ACTOR: Colin Firth . Point. This year there is none for anybody.

ACTRESS: Having said that I have not seen the films for which the candidate Kidman and Williams, and Jennifer Lawrence is a wonderful surprise, my heart literally breaks in half for Natalie and Annette. I adore the both equally and I could not really make up my mind: in the previous post I wrote that I would win the Bening. I did it because on both occasions which was defeated (again by Hilary Swank, an actress that I think definitely overrated) its performance was as disarming skill and adherence to the character. I think that Natalie still has many years ahead in order to award the statuette, so I am rooting for Annette Bening . Natalie
But if he wins, as expected, not batting an eye.

ACTOR : most favored, Christian Bale is unquestionably good. One consideration, however: the skill of the performer, in my opinion, should be independent from the physical changes and the excesses, focusing mainly on the adaptability and versatility of the actor itself. Bale in his career roles have always been impressed with over the top and very borderline, sending critics into raptures, but not entirely convincing the purists of the seventh art. While not defined as such, I share their thinking, so I do not think Bale deserves this award.
passion a little 'understated by Geoffrey Rush, or the very strong role in the removal of all John Hawkes in my opinion deserve so much more. Given the choice, press the second for the simple fact that Rush has already won an Oscar.

ACTRESS : albeit in a minor key, that is the argument made for the supporting actor. In this category, in fact, I would not have any doubt give the statuette to Helena Bonham Carter : measured, ironic and self-deprecating, always in a corner, but always present, strong and capable of becoming a young credibilissima Queen Mother.
Nothing to say about the supporting cast of THE FIGHTER, but if the Oscar were (as seems) fall into the hands of young Steinfeld, not merely a reflection of the fact that the Academy Award does not go hand in hand with artistic merit.

In conclusion, adding that the best script should be to the lads are fine and THE SOCIAL NETWORK , I can still say that if Inception will tecnicni cornered the votes (but only those) will be more than just, e che vorrei davvero veder riconosciuto lo splendido lavoro fatto dal composer John Powell per la straordinaria colonna sonora di DRAGON TRAINER .

Buona notte degli Oscar a tutti!

Oscar 2011: my predictions and preferences

Ci siamo.

Difference Between White And Red Ball In Cricket

Welcome to South

" Fra l'esagono francese e lo stivale Italian, the socio-cultural map of the injury appears mirror reversed. In France, the popular comedy craving the Mediterranean sun and palm trees of the Riviera, but not against the cold gray skies of the English Channel and northern regions, the Po valley in Italy's dream of man living in the shadow of addresses in Milan and all Madunina the possible stigma towards the South lazy and parasitic. From the Sticks Welcome to the South , the crossing of the 'opera buffa "of Dany Boon re-establishes a connection between geographical and fall down through the Civil same location as good-natured and lighter than a subversion of the stereotype. The film presents itself as a remake in the American sense of the term: a precise replica of the joints of the main narrative and gags of the original French, adapted to the language of Naples and the clash with the Milanese culture. In the "translation" is lost much of the surreal and outlandish comedy and mime joke of Dany Boon and Kad Merad in favor of comic timing more in line with the approach of cabaret Claudio Bisio and Alessandro Siani .
adaptation written by Massimo Gaudioso traces and paraphrases where serves, smoothing and softening the excessively schematic of the original screenplay especially in relationships between the characters. For the rest, the writer of Gomorrah simply convert the various elements that characterized the Nord-Pas de Calais in their direct payment Cilento (become smelly cheese buffalo mozzarella, as distilled spirits and beers bodied get coffee and limoncello, and the tradition of the carillon bell towers is converted into the baroque pyrotechnics of folklore field) and add some slight element of caricature about racism or the League of irony about the same film Matteo Garrone . By her, Luca Miniero adds to the staging of rather basic Dany Boon a technical virtuosity and a broader spectrum of colors and warm, in keeping with the tone of the Cilento coast.
Ultimately, where everyone - players, actors, characters and authors - play their role properly and runs without malice or foul play of light comedy, is a given not too comforting: the fact that even the ideas, affectionately ridicule our small country, we need to import them from abroad. "

Brown Hair With Blue And Purple Extensions

The Fighter

-Warning: there are spoilers (from the plot). -
Transposition on the screen the true story of boxer "Irish" Micky Ward (Mark Wahlberg ) and higher half-brother Dicky Eklund ( Christian Bale), also a boxer. Haunted by a mother-manager (Melissa Leo ) obsessed with success and money god, the first, gentle character, he will be impossible to fight matches on the card, while the second, after a match (lost) against the famous Sugar Ray Leonard, will enter into the spiral of crack.
But in the land of second chance both will take revenge: Micky, after meeting his present wife Charlene ( Amy Adams), will succeed to win the crown of world champion welterweight thanks to the support of his brother Dicky, riabilitatosi drug after a long spell in prison.
biopic of classical approach, The Fighter is a solid, fairly well written, directed and starred in with a good job in admirable fashion, although with excess gigioneschi altogether forgivable.
Set in working class New England towns inhabited mainly by Irish immigrants, the film flounders a bit 'in the first half struggling to assume an identity and then take shape in the phase separation of the two brothers, culminating in the cathartic final.
David O. Russell, who described this "His best", he gets a deserved nomination ' Oscar (the film has obtained a total of seven) focusing on the development of the facts of the case less positive figures (Dicky and his mother) and leaving aside only in line principle, the true protagonist of the film emerges as a deeply unbalanced characters real (in the life of Micky Ward is really a shy person and silent), which enhances the acting skills of the whole cast.
Christian Bale and Melissa Leo, both favorites for winning the 'Oscar as a supporter, boasting performance and thanks to some remarkable grimace too (much like those to the jury) is then the role of true leader of this affair; Amy Adams, very good, finally found an all-round character, able to affect positively the life of Micky Ward natured, just this last, finally, in my opinion, the real revelation: I'm talking of course Mark Wahlberg, who portrays a character strikingly clumsy but determined, combative but introverted, quiet but successful.
Ah, for the record, after The King's Speech this movie also falls in the absurd Population: Dicky Eklund, more than eight years Micky, is played by Bale, who has three years less of Wahlberg , is there anyway to say that at least in questo caso Bale, invecchiato in modo accettabile, ha perso moltissimo peso per essere più credibile nei panni del suo personaggio.

Milena Velba Follando

The speech of the King (The King's Speech)

Figlio di un padre anaffettivo e padre affettuoso di Elisabetta (futura Elisabetta II) e Margaret, Bertie è costretto suo malgrado a parlare in public and within the radio microphone, instrument information vehicle at the time. Thanks to the support and devotion of Lady Lyon (Helena Bonham Carter ), his loving wife, and unconventional techniques of Lionel Logue ( Geoffrey Rush), an Australian speech therapist, his brother Bertie scalzerà "regneggiante ( Guy Pearce), will rise to the throne under the name of George VI and will find correct speech in his speech better. What inspired his lead nation against Nazi Germany.
Strafavorito in the Oscar race , fresh winner of the Producers Guild Award and Directors Guild Award , King's speech has all the requirements to convince the jury of the Academy Awards and the audience to win over traditionally linked to the product page, solid and well played. It has not, however, in my opinion, that something that would transform it into a great film.
Live with impeccable style but a bit 'from plaster Tom Hooper, the film certainly has its strengths in the cast, an otherworldly talent, and the subject itself: the impasse comes when even the good writer David Seidler seeks to "build" the relationship between the future sovereign and the speech therapist (who remained friends until death of the first), running into a series of sudden changes of pace and sometimes unsettling. It therefore reflects the fluidity of the film, really beautiful in that first part and the beautiful final crescendo, in which Firth demonstrates definitely deserved the most coveted statuette.
Warning, this is not saying that I am absolutely King's speech is a product that deserves a very old British style, is nevertheless a cut above the prevailing vulgarity of the film too soon defined as "revolutionary" and, as already mentioned, doth a series of thrilling performance recitative.
A small note in closing: I do not really understand the reason for the choice of Guy Pearce, actor for seven years younger than Firth, chiamato ad interpretare il fratello maggiore di Giorgio VI; sullo schermo la differenza è palesemente riscontrabile e genera stupore, oltre che confusione...

will be characterized by the responsibility contromanovra contained in amendments to the budget of the Region 2011 and the related finance law that the Democratic Party will officially launch in the coming days. This alternative proposal to the Board that the judge totally inadequate . This was announced by the parent explaining to the palace Puppato Laura Ferro-Fini, along with all the councilors of the PD, the package of amendments, some of which - he explained - are also shared by groups of Italy Values \u200b\u200band the Federation of the Left Veneta.

2) Local public transport . For the minimum services and automotive lagoon and additional rail services the PD calls for further regional funding of € 30 million, which would be in addition to state resources under the agreement between the Government and the Regions.

3) term care . The PD should be given firm "change of course." It is proposed to allocate € 50 million more than indicated by the regional council to the fund, assuming for this purpose to use a portion of health care resources that are expected from Rome. The Democrats therefore propose that, for older non-self-sufficient, that with effect from 1 January 2011, the share of health significance in both residential services increased by 2.5% from the year 2010. Also with effect from 1 January 2011, the residential services may not require any deposit at the time of acceptance in the same service.

4) Economic crisis: income support to workers and small businesses. The request contained in the amendments of the Democratic Party is to guarantee for the financial year 2011, the special fund to support workers affected by the crisis. This is an overall budget of € 15 million. Furthermore, for small businesses, the PD calls for 10 million in order to increase trust.

5) Law School and the study . The PD proposes the allocation of a special contribution of 10 million to the University of the Veneto region to ensure the right to study and to allow the provision of scholarships to all university students in meeting the requirements set. Dall’altro uno stanziamento di 10 milioni di euro per support the system of preschools and equal to the cost reduction of fees payable by households; support for rents (supporting access to housing in the proposed lease is an increase in resources of 10 million euro). "We are aware of the notes and financial difficulties resulting from these cuts - stated the representatives of the Democratic Party in the regional council - but we believe the Government can draw from one part to funding from the European Union and the State.
It says at least 25 million for flood damages from Brussels and from London are coming soon, probably in April, at least 100 million (which may be twice) for Health and 36 million for local public transport. In addition to these sources there are nearly 16 million € the Veneto Region is able to recover the funds for saving : advice outside the regional administration (130,000 euro) cost of information activities of the Regional (€ 600 000 ), travel allowances and expenses for members of the Board (€ 300,000); public celebrations, civil and religious solemnity, exhibitions, festivals, exhibitions, etc.. Home For The Elderly In Koimbatore

The guys are good (The Kids Are All Right)

Nic (Annette Bening ) and Jules (Julianne Moore ) is a serene middle-aged lesbian couple with two teenage children, Joni ( Mia Wasikowska ) e Laser ( Josh Hutcherson ), nati attraverso l’inseminazione artificiale.
Scritto benissimo directed by Lisa Cholodenko (along with Stuart Blumberg ) The Kids Are All Right is everything and more: it is more politically correct in the everyday family less conventional, is the feeling in every gesture and every word of two mothers who have always had to also serve as fathers is the difficulty of a boy and a girl growing up with some doubts but also with more certainty than many of their peers.
There is not a single moment of this film where the pace becomes ineffective or jump out of the classic sour note: the current landscape, finding a similar product is increasingly rare commodity, so I find it absolutely right sottolinearne in modo sperticato le lodi, soprattutto quelle recitative, che meritano un lungo capitolo a parte; iniziamo quindi dai comprimari per chiudere con i "piatti forti".
Josh Hutcherson (Laser, il figlio quindicenne): il giovane interprete del mediocre Un ponte per Terabithia sfodera un'interpretazione degna di un veterano, calandosi in modo perfetto nel difficile ruolo di un inquieto teenager pieno di incertezze; Mia Wasikowska (Joni, la figlia diciottenne), facendomi finalmente dimenticare l'incolore Alice di Burton , conferma gli svariati apprezzamenti ricevuti in patria con una caratterizzazione fuori dal comune dell'età di passaggio più important for each of us; Mark Ruffalo (Paul, the "donor"), candidate for ' Oscar for this role, embodies no frills and false pathos, a donor who has never really wanted to grow in his hypothetical role as breadwinner ; Julianne Moore (Jules), scandals forgotten by the 'Academy , manages to make me not able to properly use any adjective, its characterization as close to perfection; Annette Bening (Nic), Oscar nominee but again not sure of winning it, is, in my opinion, one of the best actresses that the seventh art can offer global: there are no words adequate to describe the sensitivity with which he plays every character, and at this point the only thing I can say is that I would like to see her act in many more products, so that I can finally make the statuette in his hands that, I say quietly, belongs almost law.
Dolciami One of the best comedy of recent years, a film not to be missed.

Bond Return Calculator

127 Hours (127 Hours)

127 hours is nothing but the story of the true story of Aron Ralston , the American mountaineer became infamous in 2003 for being trapped by a boulder during a rock climbing in Utah from which freed after more than five days amputating alone arm trapped.
Needless to say, the story being well known, the vast majority of viewers of the globe (including me) waiting for about an hour and twenty minutes, with increasing anxiety and trepidation, the rendition by the visionary Danny Boyle amputation of the fateful because, as I read some time ago on Entertainment Weekly , " about 127 hours without wanting to talk about the cutting arm is like trying to speak of Jaws without the shark itself want to talk about."
Given the circumstances, is certainly not been easy for Boyle to make a film in which, essentially, only one actor was recovering property for an hour and a half: its style, però, ha fatto centro ancora una volta.
James Franco, as mentioned, is extraordinary: from unconsciousness to desperation, from joy to reason, from sadness to clarity, everything is determined by the plaintiff in admirable fashion, and her contortions of pain on her face in the climax scene the film must be left open-mouthed for accuracy and adherence to the role.
In conclusion, post-still on the scene of the film: I've seen with the classic five fingers spread before our eyes, but for what I wanted to look magnanimous Boyle was discreetly, without special too brutal, but in my opinion self-amputation is a scene still "strong." Absolutely
to see.

First Auditions Previews

ll Grit (True Grit)

Mattie Ross ( Hailee Steinfeld ) is a fourteen year old firm intention to bring before the court, to be sentenced to death, Tom Chaney ( Josh Brolin), the man who brutally murdered his father. To do that hires the sheriff Rooster Cogburn ( Jeff Bridges) is no longer young and drunk, but considered by all a hard man. Cogburn does not want the girl at his feet but she is called for. Lured by the generous reward for the arrest of the perpetrator, he joins the Texas Rangers the two LaBoeuf ( Matt Damon). The three are put on the trail of Chaney, meanwhile, joined a dangerous gang ...
faithful adaptation from the novel by Charles Portis , brothers Joel and Ethan Coen , with a little 'of arrogance mixed with arrogance typical of their filmmaking in recent years have clearly stated that it did not The determination inspired 1969 with John Wayne , excluding the word since the dawn of this remake their hard work and even going so far, they say, to prohibit the vision (if you have not already done so) to the cast. The differences from the classic western with the legendary Duke however, seem minor and do not change in substance to the plot itself, but, I repeat, trouble speaking renovation.
said, and analyzing the release of 2010 as if it had never been shot before, I humbly venture that it is a brave attempt, sometimes very successful, with minimal but somewhat contradictory, and several scenes almost enough and the imbalance between the first part (really addictive) and second (botched and confusing) is then far too strong.
If the first part, in fact, the construction of the characters and the journey we are undertaking three trackers are very well described and delineated in the second half of the film appear some figures that are not characterized well enough or their contextualization within the film is weak when it is laughable.
The cast is excellent, with a bit excessive but nice setting by the fourteen Hailee Steinfeld : Bridges seems to play on autopilot so the role fits him perfectly, while Damon , credibilissimo makes with the right measure the righteousness of the ranger; ingiudicabili others, the structural defect of the script described above.
Technically no objection, though the music by Carter Burwell already strasentite.
In conclusion, a film that more predictable, but that fades even more my respect (until recently unbounded) against brothers Coen, a talented but far too self-conceited.

It Looks Like I Am Looking Into A Kaliedescope

In a mountainous area of \u200b\u200bMissouri, one of the most sinister located deep in the heart of the United States of America, the adolescent Ree (Jennifer Lawrence ) take on their shoulders the entire management of the family. Since the mother is ill and her father was arrested for manufacturing and trafficking of methamphetamine, Ree is the only one who can take care of two younger siblings, care for and, literally, obtaining their food. One day, the local sheriff knocks on the door to announce that the father was released from prison by ensuring their property as security and that unless respond to the subpoena, the house will be confiscated by the police. Ree so it makes the footsteps of his father in a world of outcasts, of despair and sinister smugglers who try not to let the truth. An incipit
interesting but certainly not original, a gait constantly on the edge of inertia, a place of "facts" certainly not filled with the rhythms of contemporary cinema (which is a great value): Despite all this, Winter's Bone (to be translated more or less as "a cold winter," or in various other ways but which explicitly refer to episodes of the film) is to be considered in all respects a kind of thriller, very understated, but damn frightening. Second feature of the talented Debra Granik, is a solid film, engaging, extremely well-acted and absolutely deserving of all four candidates' Oscar just received.
Based on the novel by Daniel Woodrell and set in small town America more dark and desperate, where silence reigns like the freezing temperatures, Winter's Bone, produced classic style Sundance, it affects the essential crudeness of the dialogues is that of staging nothing is filtered, so that in some places seems to attend more of a docu-drama in which a product of fiction.
As mentioned, the strength of the film is the acting: Jennifer Lawrence, 20, has an amazing stage presence, while John Hawkes , I've seen The Perfect Storm and Me and You and Everyone We Know , seems able to express themselves with only one eye, the rest of the cast, composed mainly of characters unknown to the general public, it is literally extraordinary grip and credibility.
Basically a film not to be missed, unhealthy and disturbing but authentic and invigorating.
