Instead say a last farewell to the late obsequious John Barry, an immense master of film music who died yesterday at age 77, I prefer to remember him with one of the most haunting and beautiful soundtrack composed by him: the immortal " Born Free (Born Free ).
Just for the archives, John Barry won five Academy Awards (seven nominations) and composed some of the most famous and beautiful soundtrack of all time: Charlot (Chaplin) , Dances with Wolves (Dances with Wolves) , Peggy Sue Got Married (Peggy Sue Got Married) , Out of Africa (Out of Africa) , Frances , Body Heat (Body Heat) , The Lion in Winter (The Lion in Winter) and many, many others.
