I'm Always Getting Sick

A Winter's Bone John Barry ...

Instead say a last farewell to the late obsequious John Barry, an immense master of film music who died yesterday at age 77, I prefer to remember him with one of the most haunting and beautiful soundtrack composed by him: the immortal " Born Free (Born Free ).

Just for the archives, John Barry won five Academy Awards (seven nominations) and composed some of the most famous and beautiful soundtrack of all time: Charlot (Chaplin) , Dances with Wolves (Dances with Wolves) , Peggy Sue Got Married (Peggy Sue Got Married) , Out of Africa (Out of Africa) , Frances , Body Heat (Body Heat) , The Lion in Winter (The Lion in Winter) and many, many others.
John, I miss you immensely.

“Mentre Berlusconi chiamerà a raccolta le sue truppe, il 13 febbraio, noi - ha aggiunto  Laura Puppato - we want to inform the Venetian on what's happening to the future of their rights and essential services. We want to denounce the way in which Zaia has suffered in silence cuts of the national government. The heavy cuts imposed by the regional budget are caused not only by the operation of government, and a stability pact that unfairly penalizes local governments more virtuous. "
"For there are serious responsibilities of the regional ruling class: just look at the deficit that half of the acquired company has accumulated in recent years, as stated by the Court of Auditors. We will present our counter-maneuver and propose solutions that, unlike to what the Regional Council wants to do, do not deprive those in need of resources and not take life in society and in passive forms of clientele. It is more likely in the coming days will arrive in Veneto new resources for health spending and the Environment. Do not you think the center can use these funds outside the jurisdiction to which they close. "

"If the amendments are not approved of the Democratic Party - said the Senator Marco Stradiotto - instead of saying" masters in our house " you can say" police stations at home. " Instead of Mayors will be able to put a computer, because everything will be decided in Rome, without any real autonomy and accountability for local governments. " The partial satisfaction expressed Anci? "If you give a thirsty man to a drop of water will be pleased with him, but that proposed by the Government, moreover, without changes to the Stability Pact, has nothing to do with true federalism. The principle that judges who administers the voter based on the relationship between taxes and services, "I pay I vote" no trace ".

Oscar 2011: My thoughts on

THE GRINTA - 10
Inception - 8
THE SOCIAL NETWORK - 8
THE FIGHTER - 7
127 HOURS - 6
BLACK SWAN - 5
TOY STORY 3 to 5
THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT - 4
WINTER'S BONE - 4
ALICE IN WONDERLAND - 3

First Comment hot: quite a surprise the 'exclusion of Best Director Christopher Nolan, especially against the eight nominations earned by Inception , it seems more an "attack" subjective and objective, and frankly do not understand it, even if the setback could certainly benefit, given the attitude of messianic which recently has become the protagonist.
Equally surprising exclusion from the quintet of original screenplays that of Black Swan, again especially in the context of applications for best film and director: I think it's a pretty clear message to the film, as a memory I remember a film that has won the statuette most important without having been nominated in the category of the script.
really remarkable and unexpected on my part, made the nominations of remake coena The Determination of while King's speech confirms the eve of the weather, like The Social Network and The Fighter.
deserved the five nominees Toy Story 3, but I find it absolutely sacrosanct nominated in the best soundtrack of the wonderful score by John Powell to Train Your Dragon .
Happy for the return of Nicole Kidman in Hollywood and that counts for the sole candidate of our house, Antonella Cannarozzi , costume de I am the love of Luca Guadagnino .
then I do not understand how the Academy has been unable to get to five nominations nella categoria della migliore canzone (possibile che se ne debbano candidare solo quattro???)...

updated Italian box-office

After the efforts of Checco Zalone , already described in previous posts, let's look at the box office to home in light of the proceeds obtained from ' Tim Burton's Alice and especially by the great surprise of our local Welcome to South , Italian remake of the French Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis .

Just one final consideration: the cinepanettoni, fortunately presente SOLO in decima posizione, spero sparisca presto dalla Top Ten, confortato dai recenti dati che riflettono un costante calo di quell'offesa alla settima arte...

My Pants Rub My Stomach And Cause Bumps

A new wind of box office casa nostra...

Il film diretto dal fedele Gennaro Nunziante , già regista di Zalone in Cado dalle clouds, in just 18 days (including three weekends, including one along the Epiphany) earned the monstrous figure of almost € 39 million, becoming the highest grossing Italian film of all time in box-office, home Our behind his majesty James Cameron.
But there's more: since Titanic forward about 3 ½ million to € Zalone unleashed, sci-fi is not hypothesize an incredible finesse against the work according to Cameron. It remains unattainable Avatar with its 65 million euro.
Speaking of the real value of Checco Zalone and his films, I can say that the former character of Zelig (Really hilarious imitation of various musical artists) has an innate tendency to "make people laugh," even though his debut (the aforementioned fall from the clouds, which two years ago had already cashed the remarkable figure of 14 million euro) is a kind of sketch drawn for very long. I have not seen
What a beautiful day: we say that if it outperforms Titanic in a reasonably short time, I might even go further and intrigue to see the new King Midas of the box office made in Italy.

Fire Hazards Worksheet

Rapunzel (Tangled)

Rapunzel, Rapunzel, or rather, did not have to be born, too bad her mother was Queen during labor. Il giorno del his eighteenth birthday but Rapunzel decides it's time to stop following the advice of what he believes to be his mother and leave the tower to go and see the world in the company of a thief (Flynn Ryder) randomly happened in her gilded cage. The fiftieth
Disney cartoon house , very loosely inspired by the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm and made the decisive contribution of some minds of Pixar (including the poet John Lasseter ), finally hits the target of entertainment pure and could safely be described as very pleasant and beautifully rendered.
It was about time. After a series of embarrassing
prodottucoli doomed for "classic" (including the boring and frankly invedibile The Princess and the Frog), Rapunzel takes it in the sign: fun, excitement, excited. From the fine script with likeable characters, the cartoon does not have a break, even managing an aim to make the pleasant singing interludes. Some character, then, are unforgettable: the chameleon, more subdued and reflective, and the horse Maximus, the most fiery and passionate, tear more than a laugh, while the protagonists Rapunzel and Flynn are not just caricatures but real beings "living" with "real" emotional transport. The Gothel very bad mother, then, is a masterpiece, some close-ups on suoi sguardi sono davvero strabilianti e da soli interpretano, e bene, l'intera scena.
Ah, e poi bocche cucite sull'orrenda Poster choice in my opinion, a plate of spaghetti with two faces in the middle ...
But fortunately this has not affected the artistic value of the film, a must-see for lovers (and not) like that.

Padova, calendario League of the Province and the municipalities it back too

challenged the initiative of the Province indicates that the Mother's Day and that of the Veneto, but it emphasizes on April 25 and May Day

Solesino. An Epiphany a bit '... forgetful. E 'according to the City of Solesino starred in the 2011 calendar, printed by the Province of Padua in 50,000 copies for distribution to children throughout the territory of Padua. Cute and colorful, but with some "strange" that catches the eye. Are cited for the Father's Day, Mother's and grandparents, on Shrove Tuesday, the beginning of spring, the Feast of the people of Veneto (March 25). Lacking, however, two occasions not just irrelevant: April 25 and May 1 (but there June 2). And the City of Solesino is indignant.

"We wanted to draw from the Venetian language, words and ways to say" support the Department of Culture and Identity Venetian Leandro Comacchio and the President of the Province of Padova, Barbara Degani, presentation of the 'not to forget our origins and to convey to you the smallest ancient traditions that characterize us for years. "

"Too bad that among the various anniversaries - points to the municipal administration of Solesino - it also highlights the 3rd edition of the Feast of the Venetian people, that does not seem to find space between the traditions of ancient Venetian which was written in the introduction. But we see that continuing on April 25 Liberation Day for the Italians, is quoted as Easter and St. Mark, and on 1 May, Labour Day holiday, Sunday is referred to as simply not worthy of special citation. "

"printing error, as we hope, or a sign of a" historical revisionism "certainly not very appropriate to be disclosed to our young people? Certainly, the Feast of the Venetian people can not possibly be a minority of the National Party which is based on the Constitution of our Republic - the administration continues to Solesino - Just because we believe that our young people have a right to know and to continue to remember, we are opposed to disclosure of a calendar in this case would be very educational. We urge all governments to send the calendar to the Province, how will this town. "

In Memoriam: Pete Postlethwaite (1946-2010)

Pete Postlethwaite, "stone face" for the granite face by the very expression, the day before yesterday lost his long battle against cancer.
Born in Warrington, England, February 16, 1946, in a Catholic family and the proletarian, the youngest of four children, a boy Postlethwaite wanted to become a priest. But the angry young men of the theater and British films from the 50s and 60 to convince him groped il palcoscenico.
Addio, Pete.

Dragon Trainer (How to Train Your Dragon)

Il giovane Hic (diminutivo di Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III) è un abitante di un villaggio vichingo preda delle incursioni e razzie di svariate breeds of dragons that inhabit the area, and that over time have become the focus of intensive hunting. Tipetto skinny and awkward, but willing and intelligent, Hic is none other than the son of the mighty warrior hunter dragon zone and head of the entire village.
During a busy night in the village is attacked, thanks to his invention Hic hits a dragon most feared and least known by his people, the Dark Fury. Accidentally tracked inland prey, soon discovers that dragons do not seem to be creatures cruel, bloody and violent that are described from his people ...
Launched in the spring, shortly after the clamor 's Oscar and so disgracefully inadequate although it is a product Dreamworks, Dragon Trainer (nice title "Italian" How to Train Your Dragon ) is, bluntly, a jewel. Be left open-mouthed, too.

The result, however, is truly astonishing: witty dialogue, amusing and never trivial or banal, cute characters and beautifully characterized, special effects and depth of field (what would have been nice to see it in 3D!) breathtaking, almost real depth and color, perfect rhythm (never too much, never too little), and this is all about our home, dubbing extraordinary.

Indeed.
last note about the composer John Powell , author of a score and engaging in more than one occasion that exploits alcuni "crescendo" da brivido.
